The Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum education program offers several courses for youth and adults. Courses currently planned for this spring and summer are listed below.
Community Education Programs

Collecting Fishing Tackle
Learn more about this fascinating hobby. Rick Paulson and Terry Neidenfuer will teach the class. Both presenters are experienced collectors and well versed in the ins and outs of the hobby. Date, time and fees to be available soon.
Youth Boat Operation
This two-hour class will instruct youth ages 12 -15 on how to safely operate a small motorboat. Students successfully passing the class will be granted a permit.
Beginning Personal Watercraft Safety
Get started on the right foot with your new toy. Learn how to operate a personal watercraft in a safe and courteous manner. Earl Anderson, owner of Ollie’s Service in Alexandria will teach the class. This three-hour course includes one hour of classroom time and two hours of hands on experience on an area lake. |
